HeartBreak

This piece was created after a few very unfortunate events- the passing of two grandmothers and losing someone else very close to me to suicide in 2011. I was devastated and listening to a lot of jazz music when I started to really investigate the healing components of creating artwork. It has been my go to, just as songwriting has- whenever I am experiencing pain that I need to release. Rather than going down the rabbit hole, I choose to focus on getting the pain out and letting the pain begin to heal by bringing out the paints and brushes and letting it all out. It is oil, acrylic, candle wax, spray paint on canvas. Price is non negotiable for this piece if I choose to sell it.
