Being an artist is what fuels my life. I know I have said this a couple of times now, but after my first ever gallery exhibition in 2014, I have been very blessed and have kept my bootstraps tight and have never, EVER given up on my dream. Dreamers are meant to be dreamers and keeping focused is the lifeblood to accomplishing goals. The painting featured is second in a series for one of my collectors who fell in love with the first one, "Searching (Looking) for Love". We discussed having a piece to compliment the woman's energy, and my idea was since she was painted in white with a red heart, that I would create a masculine figure in red with a white heart, so they would complete each other and the search for love would not need to last forever. I still believe in love, and I feel very connected to this series because I haven't given up on finding it. I am so blessed to have collectors to connect with not just in a business sense, but who are friends and supporters of me not JUST as an artist, but as a person. It is important to value each other and I strive to always see the best in others.
